Back in February, 2005, we had the delight of Extreme Makeover Home Edition came to the Town of Gilbert. This house was built about a mile from my home and so occasionally some of us from the neighborhood would take a walk over, join the crowd, and participate in the festivities that surrounded the building of this massive home! Interestingly, living in the desert as we do, rain is rare. Yet, during the construction of this house, that took only one week, it rained nearly the entire week! But we got pictures of Ty and Paige and it was great excitement and fun to watch and be there for it all. After all, it was only one week then the extreme fun in the Town of Gilbert was gone.

Those are great pics of Paige and of Ty! WOO-HOO! The closest that show has come to us was Louisville and up near Cincinnati -- too far to get a close up view. Is the house still well kept? I always wonder what the places look like with the passage of time.
I have not been by it in a while but last time I saw it, it was looking OK but not as good as it once did. I am sure it is hard to maintain such a large property. After all, that is not what you can really afford, right??
